So… a couple of updates today, since the past few days have been baron so I wanted to explain why.  As I typically will when something seems out of order. I just want to express that I’m not being lazy or unprofessional. To me a lull or delay is a sign that something unnatural or unimportant has been happening seeing as how I do enjoy writing this blog. When I hit a dull moment in writing, it means I must have hit a dull spot in life.

The whole point of this blog is to showcase GOOD films that you probably haven’t seen. The problem with this is that I’m no film expert, simply a film enthusiast. I’m also coming to terms with the fact that good movies get seen so if I’m watching something I’ve never heard about… it’s probably because it isn’t very good.

Now on the contrary, I have been watching some good films that no one is talking about anymore… but I have had to rent them or find them through other blogs and something about that just feels a little empty. So in the past few days, I lost a little interest because I had nothing exciting to share with you so why waste your time with mediocrity.

So here is what I can offer… last night was the first unofficial practice run for the podcast.  It went as well as it should, but most importantly, I think I understood it. I got what we were trying to do. And I fell a little in love with the idea. I would love to give you a taste, but I don’t have the file on me and the audio cut out early anyway.

But that also got me thinking… this whole site started as a podcast. I just haven’t cast anything yet. trying to make up for that with writing can only go so far. So that’s why I lost a little hutzpah along the way. But! podcasts are coming soon. That I can guarantee.  For now, hold tight and bear with me here. I’m really looking forward to bringing you something fresh and original.
